This was possibly the toughest Dryland World Championship trail we had ever encountered.

The first 2km were a relentless gradual climb, with some seriously steep inclines thrown in along the way. Then the weather added another dimension, with sleet and freezing rain making conditions even more challenging.

But the team dug deep and delivered when it mattered.

We narrowly beat the German home favourite — who was also the breeder of Lux and Ava — to take the World Championship title.

And there was an incredible family connection to the podium…

So, in a race that pushed everyone to the absolute limit, the battle for the medals was also very much a family affair! 🐕🏆

For Infury Sleddogs, this victory was particularly special as it marked our 4th World Championship title at the time.

Representing Great Britain 🇬🇧 on the international stage and racing against the very best in the world is something we never take for granted.
